We offer Varnish as an optional upgrade with each cloud web hosting and if you want to use it, you can add it to your website hosting account via the Upgrades section in your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. There’re two separate features that can be upgraded – the instances and the memory. The first one pertains to the number of the sites that you would like to use Varnish for and the second one, which is offered in increments of 32 megabytes, pertains to the total amount of data that the data caching platform can store at any given moment. Hepsia’s easy-to-use graphical interface will permit you to delete or to restart any instance, to see elaborate logs or to clear the platform’s cache with just one click. For optimum results, you can use a dedicated IP for the Internet sites that will use the caching platform. With Varnish, your Internet site will load substantially faster, meaning more happy site visitors and potential clients.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
The Varnish platform is included in the default set of services that you will get in case you choose to host your websites in a semi-dedicated server account. You can enable it for any of your sites via our avant-garde Hepsia Control Panel. The default amount of system memory that the Varnish caching platform can use to cache data is 64 MB, but in case you decide that you want more, you can upgrade this amount of memory from the Upgrades section of the Control Panel. You can also upgrade the Varnish instances, in other words – the number of the Internet sites that can use this caching platform simultaneously. As these two things are not linked to each other, you can use several instances with the default amount of memory or you can get more memory in increments of 32 megabytes and use all of it for one single Internet site. The Varnish caching platform performs best when you get a dedicated IP address for the sites that utilize its power. Hepsia will provide you with a simple means of restarting any instance. Also, you’ll be able to clear the cached files with just a click.
Varnish in VPS Servers
You can take advantage of Varnish with all our VPS server plans at no extra cost, since the content caching platform is pre-installed and is included by default. The sole condition is that the server must be ordered with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you’ll be able to activate Varnish for any of your sites with only a few mouse clicks. Each VPS package includes a different amount of memory for data caching purposes, but you’ll have minimum several hundred MB, which is enough even for several large Internet sites. Soon after you activate the Varnish platform, it will start caching the content that your site visitors open, so you’ll notice the tremendously better site loading times and the reduced load on the VPS very soon.
